A first for Northern
Malaysia, this fantastic waterpark and resort is
making a big splash offering games, rides and
refreshing activities. This magnificent laketown is
situated at the Bukit Merah Interchange, a 35 minute
drive south of the Penang Bridge. The park is built
fronting he 7,000 acre Bukit Merah Lake, hence it's
name.
The main attractions
to be found in the park include a giant wave pool,
capable of creating waves to a metre high, a giant
bubble, raft tube rides, water flume rides, kids wter
playground and games pool. Equipment such as boogie
boards, floating tubes and other water play equipment
can be purchased or hired from the "Surf Shack
Shop".
After a fun-filled
day, one can fill up on scrumptious food available at
the "Bubbles" restaurant or "Cafe Le
Lac".
